I offer a free initial consultation, listen carefully to what you want from your garden, give inspiration, and then offer any of the services below to fit your needs. My landscape design work is focused in and around the lovely town of Belper in Derbyshire, where I work with local contractors.

Garden Design and Planning

After a full consuItation with you, and a survey of the site, I offer a range of garden design services. Whether you want a complete layout design of a garden, a planting plan for a small flower border, or anything in between, I provide hand drawn designs. The designs are yours to keep and use as you wish, or you can use my other services to continue with the garden construction and / or planting.

Garden Construction

Hands-on and practical, with attention to detail and quality of work, I carry out smaller scale landscape work myself or with a labourer. For larger projects involving earth works or paving, I link with trusted contractors local to Belper to do the hard landscaping. I can project-manage, or you are welcome to work with your own contractor.

Plant sourcing and planting

I source plants from trusted Derbyshire growers, nurseries or wholesalers to be delivered to the site ready for the planting day/s. My planting service includes composts, plant supports if required, and completion of the garden.

Caring for your garden

I like to design gardens which are easy to care for. Some gardens may only need tending several times a year. Gardening shouldn’t be a chore, and I encourage you to get involved! I can give consultations and training so that you can look after your plot yourself. Alternatively, I can offer maintenance slots in Belper.
